  • Guest：We had a really enjoyable stay. The staff and food were fabulous. Our daughter is gluten free and the hotel went above and beyond to make sure that our daughter was able to enjoy the delicious food. We also left an item of jewellery that they promptly sent back to the UK.
  • Guest：We were warmly welcomed by Deon, who gave us a tour of the beautiful property. We had the pleasure of staying in the Superior Suite – spacious, spotless, and equipped with every comfort. There was even a bathtub and a music system where we enjoyed listening to African hits. In the main building, you can relax with drinks and enjoy dinner, expertly prepared by Randall. The food was top-notch, with a menu that changes daily. Breakfast was lovingly prepared by Carol and the morning team, who welcomed us with the same warmth. It was delicious and very generous – if they have the cheese platter available, definitely order it, it’s a real treat. The team also gave us great tips for excursions in the area. We will definitely be back!

  • Guest：The Lily Pond Country Lodge is located in an area with plenty of activities to do. The lodge itself is very well maintained and offers a beautiful view on their own Lily Pond. The entire staff screams hospitality. They are very thoughtful and try to help you with just about anything you require/ want help with. Last and foremost, the lodge offers diners aswell and their chef is explicable. The food is of very high quality and the food will be brought to you by the chef itself (with his beautiful smile). Unfortunately, the chef couldn't accompany us for the rest of our trip (his cooking skills were duely missed) We spent a month traveling through South Africa and this was our favorite place to visit. We would very much recommend this lodge to anyone.
